Anemoia VZW organises club nights and podcasts in Brussels. This page explains which personal data we collect, why, who helps us process it, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and collect as little as possible.
Who is responsible
Anemoia VZW, Alsembergse Steenweg 231, 1190 Vorst, Belgium, enterprise number BE 1029.146.244, is the data controller for the personal data described on this page. For anything privacy-related, mail hello@anemoia.be.
Email updates
If you leave your email address on our website, we store it together with the date and the page you signed up on. You confirm through a link in a confirmation email (double opt-in). We use it to let you know about upcoming nights, ticket drops and podcast episodes.
Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email; we then stop emailing you straight away. Our emails record whether they are opened and which links are clicked, so we can see what is useful to you.
Ticket buyers
Tickets are sold through Paylogic (Paylogic B.V., the Netherlands). Paylogic processes your order and payment under its own privacy policy. For our events it shares with us the name and email address you used to buy a ticket, together with your ticket type and order date.
We use that address to send practical information about the event you bought a ticket for, and occasionally news about similar Anemoia nights. For the latter we rely on our legitimate interest in informing existing customers about comparable events, as allowed by Belgian law. Every such email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can object at any time.
Telegram community
Our community channel runs on Telegram. When you join, Telegram processes your data under its own privacy policy and may store it outside the EU. As channel admins we can see members’ Telegram names, but we do not copy them to any other system.
Cookies and measurement
We use Google Tag Manager to load measurement tools, but only after you give consent in the cookie banner (Google Consent Mode v2: everything is denied by default). With analytics consent we use Google Analytics 4 for visit statistics; with marketing consent we use the Meta Pixel. Our website host Framer also keeps cookieless, aggregated visitor counts. The full cookie list is in our cookie policy, which you can open from the footer of every page, where you can also change your choice.
Advertising
We promote our nights with ads on Facebook and Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.). If you accepted marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel tells Meta when you visit our website or click a ticket link, so we can measure our ads and show them to people who might be interested.
When you buy a ticket, Paylogic also reports your purchase to Meta through the Meta Conversions API, so we can see which ads led to ticket sales. For this, Paylogic sends Meta the order details (order ID, tickets, amount) together with contact details from your order, such as email address, name, phone number, city and postcode. Contact details are hashed (encrypted) before they are sent, as Meta requires. Meta uses them only to match the purchase to a Meta account and to measure our ads. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring whether our advertising works. You can object at any time by mailing hello@anemoia.be.
We do not upload lists of email subscribers or ticket buyers to Meta for ad targeting.
Who processes data for us
MailerLite (emails, Lithuania, EU), Paylogic (ticketing, the Netherlands), Framer (website hosting, the Netherlands), Google Ireland Ltd. (Tag Manager and Analytics), Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (advertising measurement, including the Conversions API) and Telegram (community channel). Where they process data on our behalf they do so under a data processing agreement; Paylogic, Meta and Telegram also act under their own terms.
Google, Meta and Telegram may process data outside the EU, including in the United States. For Google and Meta these transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe. Ticket buyer contact details: up to 3 years after your last purchase, unless you object earlier. Ticket sales records: 7 years, as required by Belgian accounting law. Google Analytics data: 14 months. Your cookie choice: 6 months.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. Mail hello@anemoia.be and we reply within one month.
If you think we handle your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
Our nights are 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
